CARGO/LANDING WINCHESThese compact winches are a variation of the slave hauler base and motor range, each having a small capacity drum for wire or rope. They are intended for the rapid raising and lowering of loads, i.e. fish boxes, from vessel to shore and similar duties. Position of installation is dependent on deck layout, but may be on deck, mast base or boom. They can be supplied with or without a brake, and also a load control valve. Alternatively, a simple needle check valve can be supplied as a simple method of lowering load control.
