Cargo/Landing Winch These compact winches are a variation of the slave hauler base and motor range, each having a small capacity drum for wire or rope. They are intended for the rapid raising and lowering of loads, i.e. fish boxes, from vessel to shore and similar duties. Position of installation is dependent on deck layout, but may be on deck, mast base or boom. If considering this winch for other applications it is important to remember that braking is motor controlled only and internal hydraulic leakage will allow a gradual lowering of the load.
